Valentine’s Day Surf and Turf with Kinders
Ingredients Needed - 2 servings
Kinders Seasonings - Prime Steak with Black Garlic and Truffle and Buttery Garlic and Herb
Kinders Hot Sauce - Black Truffle and Creamy Louisiana
5 oz Louisiana Remoulade Sauce
1 cup instant grits
4 cups water
Avocado Oil Spray
1 tbs salt
2 tbs garlic powder
2 tbs black pepper
Sargento Sliced Cheese - 2 x Pepperjack and 2 x Cheddar
8 Raw Shrimp (Peeled and Tails off)
2 x 1lb Boneless Ribeye (about 1 inch thick)
Cooking Steps
Cheese Grits
Boil water and salt.
Once water is boiling, turn heat down to med-low and add the grits.
Cook for 6 minutes covered occasionally stirring.
Add cheese, garlic and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Turn heat to lowest setting, keep covered.
Louisiana Sauce
Combine Louisiana Remoulade Sauce and Kinders Creamy Louisiana Hot Sauce.
Shrimp
Peel and clean shrimp also removing the tails.
Pat dry and spray with oil on both sides.
Generously coat them with Kinders Buttery Garlic and Herb Seasoning.
Grill them on high heat over the flame for about 2.5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and slightly charred.
Steak
Pat dry and rub Kinders Black Truffle Hot Sauce all over the steak.
Generously coat the steak with Kinders Prime Steak with Black Garlic and Truffle seasoning.
Grill on high heat over the flame for about 5 minutes on each side for a perfect med-rare. If you require a more cooked steak remove from fire and place on the cooler side of the grill to avoid over charring it.
Time to slice and plate your steak, add a serving of cheese grits with 4 shrimp on top and drizzle some delicious Louisiana sauce. Most importantly make sure to share and enjoy this meal with your valentine.
